4 out of 5 stars Great in a blend   September 5, 2010

Try a 50/50 blend of the Lavazza and something dark and fresh like Pete's morning blend. Makes a delicious, rich yet smooth coffee!

5 out of 5 stars The best bean for espresso   September 5, 2010
Heinrich H. Beck Jr. (Smithtown, NY United States)
I am going to reveal my secret for the most awesome cup of coffee, guaranteed to make any woman love you.

1. Get a Bialetti Mokka Pot Bialetti Moka Express 3 Cup Espresso Maker 06799

2. Get a Saeco Conical Burr Grinder. Saeco GT-1 Titan Conical Burr Grinder

3. Get some Lavazza Crema e Aroma beans.

Procedure:
1. Grind the beans FRESH in the conical burr grinder. The Burr Grinder makes a HUGE DIFFERENCE since it gives an even grind and SQUEEZES out the oils from the beans. Cheap grinders just "blade smash" the beans. You can taste the difference, trust me.

2. fill the mokka pot with the fresh grind, BUT DO NOT PACK IT IN.

3. Set on stove, high heat, and wait for the sound... you'll know it when you hear it.

4. Pour and serve.

Three guarantees:
1. best cup of coffee ever.
2. the woman you make it for will love you forever.
3. You'll be awake for 8 hours.

Your welcome.

3 out of 5 stars Lavazza Crema e Aroma?   July 14, 2010

I am disappointed with this product, not that the product itself is bad but that most of the shipped bags were probably old as most had lost their tight vacuum packaging. The loss of tight vacuum in my experience results in the loss of full aroma that is costumary with a fresh packaged bag of coffee. I didn't see an expiration date mark anywhere so I couldn't confirm my suspition. When fresh I highly recommend this product to any sofisticated coffee lover.

Lavazza offers one of the best flavors and aromas. It offers gourmet coffee for a great price. I dare anyone to try it and not like it.

3 out of 5 stars Not really a fan of this type of coffee   April 27, 2010

I am trying many different types of coffee, and I don't particularly enjoy this type. Some people might but not me. It has a sour taste if you drink it black which is not too pleasant. The beans give off a roasted almost burnt peanut smell. The grind is very dry looking.
When I took the advice of reading the packaging I made milk based coffees. Its a much different coffee then. There is still the sour initial taste, but the after taste is very sweet and caramely.
